Hi and welcome to our little creative corner of the web. We are a mother and daughter duo from the local Camden area. With a desire to be creative and a love of fashion and homewares 28 Ruby Lane was born on the 4th March 2014.

 

After 2 years of trading and following the birth of a very premi baby girl in late 2016, Tegan's time became all consumed with caring for Miss Molly and nurturing a very tiny bundle to a healthy and very robust toddler. At this time it was decided to say goodbye to 28 Ruby Lane.

 

5 years on and a thriving wild redhead later 28 Ruby Lane was relaunched in mid 2021. With 2020 becoming the year of Corona virus and Tegan needing to leave her job to protect her high risk heart condition, and both her children having compromised health issues, it was time to look at working from home and so 28 Ruby Lane was relaunched.

 

What does 28 Ruby Lane mean?

 

Having a dad as a sprintcar driver meant Debbie spent most of her childhood watching car number 28 go round the race track. Inevitably the number 28 became very significant in Debbie's life.

At the time of first launching 28 Ruby Lane Tegan had 1 daughter named Miss Ruby,

 

Drawing on something from both of us 28 Ruby Lane was created.

 

What is our goal?

 

To provide a great service while loving what we are doing.
